Serving

At Clinton Methodist Church, we have opportunities to serve in our church, our community, and our world. Check it out below!

If you would like to help with any of these teams, please email office@clintonmethodist.com and we will help you get started!

Church Opportunities

Care Team

When someone in our church family needs some assistance, people on our care team step in to help. They do things like send prayers, visit homebound members, or create prayer blankets.

Hospitality team

We have a lot of opportunities for hospitality at Clinton Methodist. This team cooks funeral meals, organizes potluck dinners, helps with social events, and serves donuts on Sunday mornings. This is a great thing to help with if you love food!

facilities team

This team helps with a variety of things around the church property. They help with the building maintenance, landscaping, and other projects as needed.

tech team

Our tech team works during our 8:15 and 10:15 services, and as needed for special events. During the services, you will help with things like cameras, videos, computers, and sound systems.

transport team

Our transportation team utilizes our church bus to help people get to and from church. This can include bringing members to church on Sunday mornings, transporting children to JAM after school, or taking the youth group on a trip! No CDL required.

Guest services

People on our guest services team do things such as greeting people on Sunday mornings, passing out bulletins or connect cards, ushering at our 8:15 service, and more! This is a great team to join if you love being social.

Community Opportunities

If you are interested in joining our outreach team, please email us and we will let you know when their next meeting is!

Bright Futures

Our Bright Futures committee is the sponsor of the Clinton Early Childhood Center. They do special events throughout the year, for the CECC building, serve meals to teachers, read books to students, and more!

project christmas cheer

This is an annual Christmas event for our community. Volunteers donate items, food, blankets, socks, and more. Volunteers can also help on the “giving days” during the Christmas season. Our Outreach Committee also financially supports this event. Planning this event happens all year round!

samaritan center

This is an important center in our community, as it provides help for those in need of food, clothing, and household items. Our Outreach Committee also financially supports this organization.

Camp sagrada

Sagrada Scholarship Bible Camp is a summer camp located in the Ozarks south of Lincoln, MO.  This is for children between the ages of 8 and 17 whose parents are incarcerated.  The camp introduces the children to a lifetime relationship with Jesus.  Our church assists them with funding for scholarships, and assists with work days at the camp.  For further information their website is Camp Sagrada.
